Are you ready to be a leader?

The Weld County 4-H Youth Executive Council provides an opportunity for older 4-H youth to meet, exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, acquire social and organizational skills, and cooperate with the Extension Office in the planning and implementaton of county wide activities and events.

How to Join Youth Executive Council

Who: 4-H members who are 13 years or older

When: Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, excluding August.

Officers:  A President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, two Senators, and two Alternate Senators will be elected in October of each year

Awards:  One to three Junior Leaders will be selected for recognition in each category: Outstanding Junior Leadership Record Book, Outstanding Novice (First Year), Outstanding Local Club Leadership, Outstanding County Leadership, Outstanding Citizenship County/Local (Bob & Florence Greenwalt Memorial), Outstanding Overall Leadership or Excellent Achievement in Junior Leadership. These awards will be presented at Achievement Night in November.
