Speech Arts Contest
It is important to be able to share your ideas and knowledge in a concise manner that others will understand, making presentation skills essential tools for use in clubs, work and college. Therefore, plan to participate in the speech contests to increase your experience and knowledge. Members can do a demonstration or illustrated talk, prepared speech, impromptu speech, Interpretive presentation, horse demonstration and horse prepared speech. The Public Presentation Contest is open to all 4-H members including Cloverbuds. The age divisions in all contests will be: Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior (14-18). Cloverbuds can participate for a recognition ribbon only. The top winners in each category can advance to the State 4-H Contest.

Cake Decorating Contest
Cake Decorating is a fabulous opportunity to use your new skills for
creating a beautiful cake. Remember, you must be enrolled in the cake
decorating project in order to participate. The Cake Decorating Contest
is open to all 4-H members including Cloverbuds. The age divisions in
all contests will be: Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior
(14-18). Cloverbuds can participate for a recognition ribbon only. The
top winners in each category can advance to the State 4-H Contest.
Creative Cooks Contest
Creative Cooks is a great way to learn about nutrition and meal planning in a creative, fun setting. Any 4-H member or team of 2 may participate by planning a meal, designing a table and preparing one dish from the menu. Members do not have to be enrolled in a foods project to participate. The Creative Cooks Contest is open to all 4-H members including Cloverbuds. The age divisions in all contests will be: Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior (14-18). Cloverbuds can participate for a recognition ribbon only. The top winners in each category can advance to the State 4-H Contest. Fashion Revue
The 2020 Fashion Revue will be held July 22, theme to be announced. Have you made an article you would like to model, or are you a super shopper? Here is your
opportunity. Fashion Revue is for members who are enrolled in artistic
clothing, clothing construction, knitting, crocheting, Buymanship or leathercraft
unit 10. The Fashion Revue is open to all 4-H members including
Cloverbuds. The age divisions in all contests will be: Junior (8-10),
Intermediate (11-13), and Senior (14-18). Cloverbuds can participate
for a recognition ribbon only. The top senior winners in each category
can advance to the State 4-H Contest.

Rocket Fly Day
Building a rocket is fantastic! Are you interested in how it
launches? Rocket Fly Day gives members an opportunity to launch a
rocket they have build. Remember, you must be enrolled in the model
rocketry project in order to participate. Rocket Fly Day is open to 4-H
members, Cloverbuds cannot enter into this contest. The age divisions
in all contests will be: Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior
(14-18). The top winners in each category can advance to the State 4-H

Shooting Sports County Shoot
Perfecting your aim? The Weld County 4-H Shooting Sports County
Shoot is for you! Members must attend a safety day in their discipline,
attend 3 sanctioned practices (have practice card stamped) per
discipline, and have completed and received their hunter education card
in order to participate. County Shoot is open to 4-H members,
Cloverbuds cannot enter into this contest. The age divisions in all
contests will be: Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior
(14-18). The top winners in each category can advance to the State 4-H
