• To be eligible for the 2026 Weld County Fair, Weld County Fair Junior Livestock Sale, Southeast Weld County Fair and Southeast Weld County Fair Junior Livestock Sale, all market beef animals must be identified.
• Identifying will be done ONLY on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the following location:

GREELEY PRODUCERS SALE YARD, 711 “O” Street, Greeley, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

• A scale available, so, animals will be weighed.  
• Retinal scans will be collected on ALL market beef for the Weld County Fair and Southeast Weld County Fair.
• A $6.00 fee for retinal scans, ear tags and brand inspection will be collected at this time. Checks can be made payable to Weld County Fair.
• All market beef nominated for will need a Weld County Ear Tag for Colorado State Fair and will need to order DNA envelopes from Colorado State Fair, pull DNA and mail the envelopes to Colorado State Fair.

Calves will be brand inspected. You need to bring the following documentation with you:

1. Valid proof of ownership
   • In-state animal needs a brand certificate, including the home raised cattle

   • If coming from Out-of-state, animal needs purchase invoice or brand inspection and health papers

2. You are required to contact the Brand Office (970) 352-8622 prior the weigh-in to get your brand certificates.  Brand Certificates will not be written at weigh-in.  All Brand Certificate fees will be paid by the exhibitor to the Brand Office.

There will be NO make-up date. All cattle need to be identified on February 7, 2026.
