Central Colorado Water Conservancy Scholarship
Central Colorado Water Conservancy District funds a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student who is interested in pursuing a career in natural resources, agriculture, water resources, and related areas of study. The chosen student must be a high school senior, who is currently enrolled in a high school within the District boundaries. Check-in with your school counselor for more information. Weld County Goat Extravaganza Scholarship
The Weld County Goat Extravaganza will be offering one $500.00 scholarship to graduating high school seniors or undergraduates furthering their education at a college, university, or trade school in the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
These are the qualifications to be eligible to apply for a scholarship:
- Current or past member of a 4-H or FFA program.
- At some point in your 4-H or FFA career, you have show at the Weld County Goat Extravaganza.
- Have not previously received a Weld County Goat Extravaganza scholarship.
Applications open on December 18, 2023 and close on March 1, 2024. There is an online only application at Weld County Goat Extravaganza Scholarship.
Colorado 4-H Scholarships
Colorado 4-H awards scholarships annually to outstanding youth who have actively engaged in Colorado 4-H clubs for at least three years. The scholarship process is open from November 1, 2023, through March 1, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be announced in May 2024. There are opportunities available for all kinds of students, including those attending CSU or other universities, trade schools or junior colleges, transfer students, and continuing students. We encourage our 4-H participants to apply. There is $49,500 available in funding this year!

Jonathan Marr 4-H Memorial Scholarship
One $500.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to a 4-H Member who has been enrolled in Shooting Sports for a minimum of four years.
This scholarship is intended to assist individuals entering a post-secondary vocational or technical field, such as welding, carpentry, mechanics, etc.
Applicants will need to submit three letters of recommendation. One from their Extension 4-H Agent, one from their County 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator or Coach and one from a non-relative adult. Each applicant will also need to provide an essay on what they have done in 4-H, why they are applying and what they plan to do in the future.
