Central Colorado Water Conservancy Scholarship
Central Colorado Water Conservancy District funds a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student who is interested in pursuing a career in natural resources, agriculture, water resources, and related areas of study. The chosen student must be a high school senior, who is currently enrolled in a high school within the District boundaries. Check-in with your school counselor for more information. Weld County Goat Extravaganza Scholarship
The Weld County Goat Extravaganza will be offering one $500.00 scholarship to graduating high school seniors or undergraduates furthering their education at a college, university, or trade school in the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
These are the qualifications to be eligible to apply for a scholarship:
- Current or past member of a 4-H or FFA program.
- At some point in your 4-H or FFA career, you have show at the Weld County Goat Extravaganza.
- Have not previously received a Weld County Goat Extravaganza scholarship.
Applications open on December 18, 2023 and close at 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2024. There is an online only application at Weld County Goat Extravaganza Scholarship.
Colorado 4-H Scholarships
Colorado 4-H awards scholarships annually to outstanding youth who have actively engaged in Colorado 4-H clubs for at least three years. The scholarship process is open from November 1, 2023, through March 1, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be announced in May 2024. There are opportunities available for all kinds of students, including those attending CSU or other universities, trade schools or junior colleges, transfer students, and continuing students. We encourage our 4-H participants to apply. There is $49,500 available in funding this year!

Greeley Independence Stampede Scholarships
The Greeley Stampede Foundation is now accepting applications from graduating Weld County High School seniors. Online applications are due by midnight on March 15, 2024. Weld County High School seniors who meet general qualification and are scheduled to graduate in the spring are encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their outstanding academic results, leadership in the community, involvement with the Greeley Stampede, and plans to further their education. Recipients of the scholarship may use the scholarship at any accredited trade school, college or university. For more information and the application go to Greeley Stampede.
Lifelong Learning is a core value of the Agfinity Cooperative, which is why the Stalwart Agfinity Scholarship program was established. This year we will be awarding $85,000 to the Stalwart Agfinity Scholarships. Application will be available February 15, 2024. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2024. - Applicants must be attending or plan to attend an accredited four-year college, two-year technical school, or community college.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent during their previous educational year.
- Applicants must be connected to the Agfinity Cooperative or pursuing a degree connected to Agriculture.
Applicants must submit the two-part Stalwart Agfinity Scholarship application by Friday, March 15, 2024, by 11:59 p.m.
Northern Colorado Meat Goat Breeders Scholarship
The Northern Colorado Meat Goat Breeders Inc. (NCMGB), also formerly known as the Weld County Meat Goat Breeders, will be awarding one or more $500 scholarships, depending on availability of funds. These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors or undergraduates furthering their education at a college, university, or trade school in the 2024-2025 academic year. These are the qualifications to be eligible to apply:
- Current or past member of a Weld County or Larimer County 4-H or FFA program.
- At some point in your 4-H or FFA career, prior to November 14, 2021, you purchased a market or breeding goat from a NCMGB member, and received a copy of our organization's "Market Goat Application" form, bill of sale, or proof of transfer, signifying your purchase from a member of our organization. You are also eligible if you raised the animal yourselves as a NCMGB member.
- Have not previously received a scholarship from our organization.

West Greeley Conservation District Scholarship
West Greeley Conservation District (WGCD) would be honored to assist graduating high school students who are interested in furthering their education focused on Conservation, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences and related careers with our Scholarship.
Students who have earned a 3.0 GPA (or better), and are looking to continue their education at a Colorado college or university, may apply if their family pays the WGCD mil levy tax. To confirm eligibility - go to the Weld County Assessor’s site at: Weld County Property Portal and enter your home address. If it lists WGCD in your Taxing Districts tab, your student may apply.
Everything can be down-loaded and submitted online at: Weld Greeley Conservation District. The deadline for all submissions and letters of recommendation must be at WGCD, electronically. Some items can be dropped-off or mailed to our office: 4302 W. 9th St. Rd., Greeley 80634 by Monday, April 1st before 4:00 p.m. when our doors lock. Jonathan Marr 4-H Memorial Scholarship
One $500.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to a 4-H Member who has been enrolled in Shooting Sports for a minimum of four years.
This scholarship is intended to assist individuals entering a post-secondary vocational or technical field, such as welding, carpentry, mechanics, etc.
Applicants will need to submit three letters of recommendation. One from their Extension 4-H Agent, one from their County 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator or Coach and one from a non-relative adult. Each applicant will also need to provide an essay on what they have done in 4-H, why they are applying and what they plan to do in the future.

Livestock Exchange LLC Scholarship
The Livestock Exchange LLC Scholarship is for graduating High School Seniors or Home School Seniors or a Second Chance Adult with a GED wanting to further their education in the related Ag fields. Total award of $2,500.00 to be divided between the total number of semesters needed to complete the program. Ag related fields may include: all areas of Livestock Animals, Agronomy, Horticulture, Nutrition of Animals, Vet/Vet Tech, Ag Mechanics, Welding, Ag Business. Weld County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Weld County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce their scholarship program for 2024. The program was established to support the future of agriculture by recognizing and rewarding deserving high school seniors and college students who plan to continue their education in an agriculture related field of study. Scholarships of $1000 are available.
Applicants must be Weld County residents. The applicants whose parents, grandparents, or legal guardians are current members of Weld County Farm Bureau or are members in their own right, will be given higher priority.

Weld County Livestock Association Scholarship
The Weld County Livestock Association will be awarding $1,500 college scholarships and the $1,500 Gene Inloes scholarship this year to graduating high school seniors and college freshman. Students who are Weld County residents and are from an agricultural background or pursuing an agricultural career are invited to apply. Applicants may be attending accredited college, junior college, or trade school in the fall of 2024 as a freshmen or sophomore. Applications and requirements can be found at Weld County Livestock Association.
Deadline for application is April 15, 2024. Winners will be announced May 15, 2024.
Weld County CattleWomen Scholarship
The Weld County CattleWomen are offering a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a college junior, senior or a student studying for an advanced degree in the fall of 2024. The student needs to be a Weld County, Colorado resident, or have parents/grandparents that are Weld County residents, and be attending college with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The student must be planning to attend a school full time for the 2024-2025 school year, in a bachelors or graduate level program.
To apply the applicant must submit:
- Cover Sheet with name, address, and email. If address listed is not in Weld County describe how you qualify (parents address, etc)
- A 1 page essay on “How I plan to positively influence the beef industry with my chosen major”.
- Resume, not more than 1 page, including the following: work history, community involvement, college activities, future goals.
- Two letters of reference
- Copy of college transcript

Weld County Bright Futures Scholarship
The Bright Futures program was designed with one objective in mind–strengthening the vitality of the Weld County community through its workforce. The program is funded by taxpayers for qualifying Weld County residents who have graduated from high school, GED recipients and honorably discharged U.S. Veterans, after 2016. Qualified and accepted recipients receive financial assistance for pursuing post-secondary education or training from a Title IV accredited higher education institution or certified training program. There are no restrictions concerning program selection. Whether a student wants to train to be a chef, a mechanic, an electrician or wants to pursue an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, they can utilize the Bright Futures grant program to pursue their dream. Colorado Association of Fairs & Shows Scholarship
The Weld County Fair is a member of Colorado Association of Fairs and Shows (CAFS). CAFS offers a scholarship every year for only high school seniors or a graduate with a minimum of a “B” average in both their Junior or Senior year. This scholarship can be used at any creditable post-secondary school. CAFS has not published the application or deadline yet, but it will be located at Colorado Association of Fairs and Shows.
