Next date: Sunday, October 05, 2025 | 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM

Weld County 4-H and FFA members enrolling in any market and/or breeding livestock or small animal projects for the first time regardless of age, must attend a Colorado Meat Quality Assurance (MQA) program. 4-H and FFA members will be required to attend a Face to Face Colorado MQA program a minimum of twice during the course of their career – once as a junior (8-13 years old, age as of December 31st) and once again within one year after becoming a senior (14-18 years old, age as of December 31st) member. The virtual MQA training last year was valid for one year only.

Weld County 4-H is providing three MQA Trainings on a Face to Face basis in 2025-2026.

We will offer this MQA Training this fall on:

  • Sunday, October 5th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. - Please arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.

You can view the list of who needs to take MQA for the 2025-2026 year.  Please view the list in the Bulletin Board. The list will be updated on August 19th.

This spring there may be 2 more MQA training offered. Dates have not been set yet for the spring classes.
