Livestock Field Day

I would like to invite you all to attend the Livestock Field Day on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the McKee Building at the Ranch in Loveland.
We are offering a wide selection of seminars from industry professionals and members from the Department of Animal Sciences at CSU. These seminars will cover all disciplines from equine, poultry, and small and large ruminants. We will also have a station that is in conjunction with the MQA where members will have an opportunity to look at a ruminant digestive system and are able to dissect different compartments of the stomach alongside Dr. Terry Engle and graduate students in the Animal Nutrition Department at CSU.

Members must complete the MQA course their first year as a Junior and the first year as a Senior in any of the livestock disciplines including breeding projects. Even if you do not have to re-new your MQA certification I would highly encourage youth to participate to continue to expand on good management practices.
