4-H Enrollment is open

4-H Online will open in the late afternoon on October 1, 2026 for members and leaders to enroll in the 2026-2027 4-H year.  The 4-H year runs from October 1 to September 30. We will email everyone when enrollment is open on October 1st.

4-H age is the age of the individual on December 31, 2026.

  • Cloverbud: 5-7 years old
  • Junior member: 8-10 years old
  • Intermediate member: 11-13 years old
  • Senior member: 14-18 years old

4-H Online

Online enrollment will open in late afternoon on October 1, 2026. Re-enrolling in 4-H as a member or a leader is easy. Each family will login using their family email address and password to enroll electronically. If you don’t remember your family email to start this process, please get with your Organizational Leader to verify your family email. Members will be able to log in at any time to refresh their memory of what projects they are enrolled in!

Online Signatures

Signatures for the forms are electronic. AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE IS TYPING THE FIRST AND LAST NAME OF THE INDIVIDUAL.

Animal Care and Housing Form

The only paperwork you will have to print out is the Animal Care and Housing Form if your animals are located at a different property than your home.

Payment Section of Enrollment

You must complete the Payment Section to complete your 4-H enrollment. When you get to the payment section, select ‘Check’, then click next. 4-H Online will not collect any payment information. It is just a step to get to the submit button. Once families submit their enrollment, please pay your club the enrollment fees. The 4-H staff in our county will view and approve each enrollment in mid-January. Families will continue to be able to make some changes throughout the year – such as address, email address, phone number, etc. You can add or drop a project after your initial enrollment by updating your online account prior to March 1st.

Signing up for Shooting Sports

Members interested in Shooting Sports must enroll in each discipline that they are planning to shoot in addition to the discipline they are wanting to do their 4-H project on. This helps with record keeping, safety tracking, and ensuring that all members are enrolled correctly for their different projects. If you have any questions, please contact Kim.

Horse and Dog ID Forms

All Horse and Dog ID Forms must be done on an annual basis through 4-H Online by May 1st. If you identified a horse or dog last year, you must activate each animal account. For the Dog ID, you will need to update and upload new vaccine information.

What is the 4-H re-enrollment deadline for re-enrolling members?

The deadline for re-enrolling members and clubs is January 15, 2026 by 10:59 p.m. You must have your enrollment completed and fee turned in to your club leader by the club deadline so they can get them turned into the Extension Office. The 4-H enrollment deadline for new members and for all members who wish to exhibit at the Weld County Fair is March 1, 2027. There are other deadlines associated with specific projects. Check with your leader if you have questions.

What is the enrollment fee?

Members and Cloverbuds need to re-enroll through 4-H Online by January 15, 2027. Enrollment fees need to be paid directly to your club and are $50.00 per member and $40.00 per Cloverbud. Any member or Cloverbud re-enrolling from January 16, 2027 through March 1, 2027, enrollment fees are $60.00 per member and $50.00 per Cloverbud.

New Members need to enroll through 4-H Online by March 1, 2026. Enrollment fees need to paid directly to your club and are $50.00 per member and $40.00 per Cloverbud.

How to enroll for Weld County CWF?

The Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is not included in the project list in 4-H online. You must be 15 at the time of travel in 2029. Please follow the instructions below to enroll in CWF. You will sign up under the CWF group you want to be part of once your account has been approved.

Signing up for Judging Teams

Members who wants to be on a judging team will need to sign up through 4-H Online in the Group Section once your account has been approved. Please follow the instructions below to enroll in a Judging Team.

The Extension Office will ONLY accept enrollment fees from 4-H club leaders.

Adding or Dropping Projects, CWF Groups and Judging Teams

Adding or Dropping Projects

If your account has been approved, you can add or drop a project yourself. 

Here is how you add or drop a project:

  1. Login to 4-H Online
  2. Click the Blue View button next to the member’s or leader’s name
  3. On the left side of the screen, click on Projects
  4. Click the Edit button at the top right of the list of projects
    1. To add a project:
      • Click on the Select Projects button at the bottom of the projects
      • Scroll down to the project you want to add and click the Blue Select button
    2. To delete a project:
    • Click on the trash can icon to the right of the project you want to remove

Adding CWF Groups and Judging Teams

If your account has been approved, you can add a CWF Group and/or Judging Team.

Here is how you add a CWF Group and/or Judging Team:

  1. Login to 4-H Online
  2. Click the Blue View button next to the member’s or leader’s name
  3. On the left side of the screen, click on Groups
  4. Click the Add Group button at the top right of the Groups Box
  5. In the Enrollment drop down, select 2026-2027
  6. In the Group dropdown, select the Group you want to add
  7. Repeat steps 1-6 to add all of the groups you want
