Leadership Development Conference is held in January each year in Denver. Leaders can attend. Highlights include a community service project with the Colorado State 4-H Officers, IFYE presentation, banquet and awards presentation, and leader meetings. There is an opportunity to tour the State Capitol and attend 4-H Day at the Capitol where the legislature will issue the Proclamation for Colorado 4-H Day. For more information, contact Teresa.
The annual conference provides a great educational experience and an opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, meet new people and make new friends. It also hosts the following state contests: Livestock Judging, Consumer Choices, Consumer Bowl , Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Hippology, Horse Demonstration and Public Speaking, Prepared Speech, and Extemporaneous Speech.
