Youth Meat Quality Assurance (YMQA or MQA) Certification
This MQA Training may work really well for you! Are you busy with sports in the Spring? Is your Spring just too busy to fit MQA Training into your schedule?
4-H & FFA members with MARKET and/or BREEDING livestock projects are required to complete Youth Meat Quality Assurance (YMQA) Certification. If you have never taken this program and did not take the program for a second time last year after you turned 14, you must attend a certification. For the purposes of YMQA, livestock is defined as BREEDING AND MARKET BEEF, DAIRY, SHEEP, SWINE, GOATS, RABBITS AND POULTRY. Horse projects are excluded from YMQA requirements.
If you are a Cloverbud aging up and will be showing livestock or small animals in the 2026-2027 4-H year, you can come to this Fall MQA Training.

Pre-registration is not necessary, just show up, sign in and take the training. We will be ending the training right at 4:00 pm so make certain you are there by 3:00 pm so you can finish the training. We will have an additional 2 MQA Trainings this spring.
