District II 4-H Events

Junior Jamboree

Junior Jamboree is a day camp filled full of workshops, crafts and games sponsored by District II 4-H.  This is the perfect opportunity for youth to meet new friends, learn leadership skills and have fun!  District II 4-H is a regional 4-H that is comprised of Weld, Boulder and Larimer counties.  Members who are 8-11 years old can attend as campers.  For more information, contact Kim.

Colorado 4-H Events

Leadership Development Conference

Leadership Development Conference is held in January each year in Denver.  Members 14-18 years old can attend.  Highlights include a community service project with the Colorado State 4-H Officers, IFYE presentation, banquet and awards presentation, think-tank meetings, a dance and movie.  There is an opportunity to tour the State Capitol and attend 4-H Day at the Capitol where the legislature will issue the Proclamation for Colorado 4-H Day.  For more information, contact Teresa.

State 4-H Conference

This  annual conference provides a great educational experience and an opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, meet new people and make new friends. it also hosts the following state contests: livestock judging, consumer choices, consumer bowl , horse bowl, horse judging, hippology, horse demonstration and public speaking, prepared speech, and extemporaneous speech.  members 14-18 years old can attend state 4-H conference held at Colorado State University in June each year.  The conference deadline to register is May 1, and the conference dates are June 23-25.   For more information, contact Teresa.

Youth Fest

Youth Fest is a statewide camp at the Ponderosa Retreat Center in Larkspur in February each year for members ages 9 to 13 years old, focusing on teaching members what 4-H can offer older members.  Activities include a community service project, workshops, sledding, dance and movie for camp participants so they can have an impact in their club and county.  There is a limit number of slots for participants.  For more information, contact Kim.

Colorado Leadership Conference

Come one, come all to Colorado Leadership Camp (CLC).  This camp will be held for youth that are 6th – 9th graders in Glenwood Springs, CO in November each year.  Workshops will include: leadership, public speaking, community service project and a lot of fun! For more information, contact Kim.
