Mardi Gras is just around the corner and all 4-H Clubs should be gearing up because "DINO-Myte Night" is this year's Mardi Gras Theme. Held on the third Saturday of November from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mardi Gras is not only a fantastically fun social occasion, it is also our annual fund raising event for the Weld County 4-H Foundation! Clubs will plan, decorate and run a carnival type booth with a "DINO-Myte Night" theme. There are lots of activities for kids from 1 to 101! The evening ends with a family friendly dance held in the 4-H Building from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
Sell pre-sell drawing tickets, buy pre-sell drawing tickets, provide baked goods, volunteer to work a booth, compete in one of the fun contests, help construct booths, help your club leader plan, setup and decorate your booth!
Don't miss out on this family favorite event, get your calendar marked for November 18th, at the Exhibition Hall, Island Grove Park. For more information about Mardi Gras, please contact Teresa.
