Leadership Development Conference

Leadership Development Conference is held in January each year in Denver. Leaders can attend. Highlights include a community service project with the Colorado State 4-H Officers, IFYE presentation, banquet and awards presentation, and leader meetings. There is an opportunity to tour the State Capitol and attend 4-H Day at the Capitol where the legislature will issue the Proclamation for Colorado 4-H Day. For more information, contact Teresa.

State 4-H Conference

The annual conference provides a great educational experience and an opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, meet new people and make new friends. It also hosts the following state contests: Livestock Judging, Consumer Choices, Consumer Bowl , Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Hippology, Horse Demonstration and Public Speaking, Prepared Speech, and Extemporaneous Speech. Leaders can attend State 4-H Conference held at Colorado State University in June each year. For more information, contact Teresa.

Regional 4-H Events

Western Region Leader Forum

The Western Region Leaders' Forum (WRLF) is a leadership conference for volunteers and staff of the 4-H Western Region. The 13 states in the region are Alaska, Alberta (Canada), Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.  The Western Region Leader Forum typically has been held in early spring and is hosted by states on a revolving basis.
